The Darst Family
John Darst has spent his entire life in the funeral and cemetery industry. His parents purchased a cemetery and he grew up working with them to build the business. As an adult, he became a funeral director and has spent his entire career working to serve families in their time of need. Darst Funeral Home is the realization of his dream to build a funeral home that would truly put families first. John and his wife Anne have been Kingwood residents of over 15 years. They have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. John’s daughter Erin has written several articles, featured in Dock Line Magazine, about her experience growing up behind the scenes of the funeral industry.
